Step Inside As you walk through the back door, you’re welcomed by a spacious hallway, thoughtfully designed with ample storage for muddy boots and waterproofs – ideal after a day exploring the fells.

Cook, Dine, and Unwind To the left of the entrance hall lies the heart of the home – a large kitchen diner, fully equipped for preparing meals to satisfy up to six hungry guests. All you need to bring is the food! For more formal occasions, the dining room across from the kitchen provides the perfect backdrop for a cosy dinner or
somewhere to play board games with the kids.

The open-plan lounge is a true sanctuary, featuring stunning exposed wooden beams, an original open fireplace, and comfortable seating for six.

Enjoy your favourite shows on the smart TV, pop in a DVD, or stay connected with superfast
broadband – catering to every entertainment need.

Upstairs Comfort Venture up the original wooden staircase to find three bedrooms and a newly refurbished family bathroom.

Feel free to explore and make use of every corner of this charming retreat during
your stay.

The hot tub is all yours too, set at a cosy 37°C for your comfort. Please note that it will be checked and maintained throughout your visit to ensure a relaxing experience.

You’ll also benefit from parking for three cars and a private, secluded garden, offering a tranquil space for you and your group to unwind.

Important Information

  • The hot tub may not be used after 10:30pm.
  • The other properties on-site are not accessible to Burrow Cottage guests.
  • Electric vehicle (EV) charging is not permitted as there is no charging point on the property.

Other Things to Note

  • Please ensure all gates are securely closed upon entry and exit.
  • We are dog-friendly! If you are bringing more than one dog, please inquire in advance.
  • There is an additional charge of £30 per holiday for dogs joining your stay.
  • Kindly note that this property is not wheelchair accessible.

About Host

I’m a working mum and wife to my lovely family. I love our beautiful area where we live. Having grown up in the lakes i have a vast knowledge of the area, local walks, swimming tarns, pubs, activities and lots more.

In our spare time our family enjoy walking, fishing, canoeing and holidaying.
